Podbočje is a pleasant village in the land of cviček wine, between the foothills of Gorjanci and the lazy green Krka river. Parts of Gorjanci are especially known as an excellent wine area. The area's towns and tourist attractions are all connected by the Podgorjanska wine road. Gadova peč is known as the home of the best cviček. Archeologists have discovered traces of Neolithic, Hallstatt and Celtic cultures. Several marked walking trails allow easy exploration.
