Podbočje is a pleasant village in the land of cviček wine, between the foothills of Gorjanci and the lazy green Krka river. Parts of Gorjanci are especially known as an excellent wine area. Archeologists have discovered traces of Neolithic, Hallstatt and Celtic cultures. Several marked walking trails allow easy exploration.
