The Slovenska Bistrica municipality lies beneath Pohorje, in the valley of the Dravinja. Here, you can walk the trails of Pohorje, fill your lungs with fresh air and surrender to all the wonders that nature has to offer. Haloze also hides many fascinating sights. If you are tired, you can rest and relax at the Boč nature reserve with rare Pasque flowers or at the Bistrica stream that created the picturesque Bistriški vintgar gorge with its numerous rapids and waterfalls.
