The Poljčane municipality lies at the base of Dravinjske gorice, in the valley of the Dravinja river. From here, paths lead in all directions, and the fascinating town makes a great starting point for an ascent to Boč. The rolling landscape is decorated by the beautiful pasque flower (Pulsatilla grandis), whose purple blooms open in early spring. The area has a vibrant, energetic pulse thanks to the activities of various groups and assocations.
