The Muta municipality lies between the Drava river, the edges of the hilly regions of Golica and Kobansko and the Slovenian-Austrian border. Natural circumstances and the geographical location have provided the area with plenty of water sources.The city is famous for the Romanesque rotunda of St. John the Baptist, an architectural monument made unique by its shape.
