The Škocjan municipality lies on the border between the Posavska and Dolenjska regions, between the Krško hills and the Krakovski gozd forest, where the Krka river widens into the spacious Krško polje plain. The rolling landscape, unspoiled nature and rich cultural heritage guarantee that tourists will never be bored here.
