The ski resort SC Cerkno is the most modern ski resort in Slovenia, which offers ski slopes that are appropriate for every type of skier – from the little ones, the beginners to the professional skiers. SC CERKNO was awarded with the title BEST SKI RESORT IN THE WINTER SEASONS 2010/11, 2011/12 AND 2012/13!

The ski resort has over 70 hectares of great skiing slopes, which are appropriate for beginners as well as the more experienced skiers. If natural snow is missing, the workers at SC Cerkno make sure, that the slopes get covered with enough artificial snow provided by the snowmaking machines. Cross country skiers at SC Cerkno can enjoy here as well – a 5-kilometer track around the ski resort is waiting for them.

The ski resort is the most modern ski resort in the country – it is the only one in Slovenia that offers 2 six-seater chairlifts, 2 four-seater chairlifts, 2 two-seater chairlifts, 2 ski lifts and several conveyor belts for the little ones in the ski school and kindergarten on the snow.

On the top of SC Cerkno there is a new self-service restaurant waiting for all the hungry skiers – in this cozy alpine hut, you can treat yourself with some delicious meals, have a rest or warm up a little. At the first floor of the restaurant there is also a special play room for all the little ones. Six lovely apartments (altogether with 45 beds), which offer their guests everything they need for a pleasant skiing vacation, are to be found here as well.

The ski slopes at SC Cerkno are really suitable for all kinds of skiers. Have a fun skiing day, ride the ski lifts up and down and test your own or rented ski equipment. And for all you cross-country skiers – a 5000-meter long track, which will take you around the resort, is waiting for you.

A special adrenalin adventure at Cerkno is the SNOW PARK, where snowboarders and free riders can practice their tricks without worrying of hindering other skiers on the slopes.
