Festival Lent 25th June to 10th July 2010, MARIBOR, SLOVENIA
It is the largest Slovene open-air event of its kind and one of the biggest summer festivals in Europe.
16 days and 16 nights to remember for the rest of the year!
Almost as if by magic, the annual multicultural Festival Lent transforms the city of Maribor into a small world of its own.
An eclectic mix of events, including concerts of classical, jazz, rock, pop and ethno music; evenings with singer-songwriters and chansons; theatre and dance performances; drama and puppet theatres; stand-up performances; creative workshops for children; sports and much more. The festival also hosts the international folklore festival Folkart, the spicy jazz festival Jazzlent and the diverse street theatre festival Ana Desetnica. More than 30 venues around town, including stages, squares, parks and streets!
