The Kolpa river first sees the light of day in Gorski Kotar, Croatia, and marks the southern border of our country.

Warm and clean, its waters are especially inviting in the summer months. Swimming, boating, fishing and camping in one of the well-maintained camps can be a vacation you'll never forget.

An adventurous descent down the Kolpa river will take you into a world of pristine nature. You will be able to explore the river canyon, its gravel deposits and dams. You can also experience the Kolpa river on foot or on a bike, taking the southernmost Slovenian walking path from Radenci to Damelj.
