Terme Dobrna is a modern, dynamic spa and tourism center. With a 600-year tradition, this spa combines natural beauty and modern medical science in one of Slovenia's greatest tourist attractions. A tradition reaching back to the fifteenth century, a lovely climate and beautiful environment, relaxation, high-quality care and entertainment – these things attract visitors from all over the world. A thermal spring serves as the heart of the spa. Dobrna's thermal water is colourless, odourless and tasteless. Coming up from 1200 meters below the surface, it has a temperature of 36 degrees Celsius. This hot water spring was familiar even to the ancient Celts and Romans. It was first used for medical purposes in 1403.

Conditions: gynecological, urological, rheumatic, orthopedic and neurological diseases, damage to the locomotive organs, degenerative rheumatism, Lyme disease, osteoporosis, sports-related injuries and stress-related conditions.

Programmes: fertility programmes, acupuncture during pregnancy, restoration and rehabilitation after breast surgery, cleansing, relaxation, body shaping, weight loss and other programmes.

The spa comprises three hotels. The four-star VITA hotel contains the central reception desk, a restaurant, a coffee shop, a conference hall, a top-notch massage and beauty center, a hair care salon, a 500-square-meter sauna center, an interior and exterior thermal water pool and the medical center. The four-star Villa HIGIEA boasts five rooms and a restaurant planned according to the principles of Feng Shui, the ancient Chinese science and art. A wine cellar and wine shop are located beneath the building. Guests can also stay at the three-star PARK hotel where they can plan their own schedule. It was completely renovated in 2008.
