A pearl among Slovenian Alpine valleys, Robanov kot is not nearly as inhabited as the nearby Logarska dolina valley. The natural beauty, peace and isolation make it an oasis in the mountains where lone farmsteads remain to this day. The Roban farm was already listed in the tax books in 1426.

In Robanov kot, flower-covered grasslands stretch beneath the rock faces of Križevnik and Poljske device, daring you to forget your worries for a moment and simply enjoy the peace and tranquility of nature.

In 1950, the valley was classified as a protected regional park.
