Dominko's homestead - presentation
Standing next to the main Ptuj – Ormož road in the Gorišnica municipality, Dominko's homestead is the oldest completely preserved house built in the Pannonian style. It is 300 years old.
The house is made of wooden beams and the roof is made of straw. The interior consists of a typical kitchen called "the black kitchen", the central part called the "house", a larder, a foyer and an outbuilding.
During the summer, the locals occasionally perform theatrical plays in front of the homestead.
