Božidar Jakac gallery - presentation
In 1974, the Gorjup gallery, the Lamut art salon and Forma viva merged into the BOŽIDAR JAKAC gallery, located inside a former Cistercian monastery. Though the gallery is named after Božidar Jakac, it also houses permanent exhibitions of works by other artists: Jože Gorjup, Tone Kralj, France Kralj, France Gorše, Janez Boljka, Zoran Didek in Bogdan Borčić and the Pleterje collection of the old masters. No longer a sacred religious place, the former monastery chapel is now used for special exhibitions.
