Pedrovo lies on the north edge of the Kras plain in the vicinity of the Rihemberk Castle. A forest lane takes you off the main road between Branik and Komen leading you to an old densely built village of stone houses which are a home for a little more than ten inhabitants. Being far away from the modern life noise, surrounded by forests it offers a serene atmosphere, ideal for rest, relaxation, family life and creative work.

There are numerous hiking and bicycle paths leading out of the village that itself gives you astonishing views of the Vipava Valley as well as on the Komenski Kras right down to the coast. Being secluded from busy roads and motorways, it renders an opportunity for long walks and enjoying a very interesting countryside.

Yet, all the main roads are easily accessible and in practically no time you will be getting to many places of interest: Štanjel 10km, Italian coast with its beaches in Sistiana and Duino 30km, Trieste 35km, Lipica 35km, Postojna Cave 50km, Škocijan Caves 35km. The nearest international airport is Ronchi Dei Legionari, Trieste: 40km
And, a visit to a numerous wine cellars in Vipava Valley and Kras is highly recommended.
