Dobrepolje
The Dobrepolje municipality covers two karstic valleys between Mala gora and Tisovška planota. Dobrepolje is a dry karstic plain approximately 35 kilometers south of Ljubljana. The karstic landscape is full of caves, the most famous being Podpeška jama which was explored by Valvazor. A hundred-year-old lime tree grove grows next to the church of St. Anthony of Padova. The forty-five treetops once provided shade for popular cattle fairs.
