Though it is the second smallest municipality in Slovenia, Trzin is well-developed, rich and economically significant. Despite its rapid development and the vicinity of the capital, Trzin has managed to retain its own identity. The town has a strong social pulse with many cultural, sporting and other events that also attract visitors from far away. Because of the beautiful nature, Trzin is a good starting point for journeys to places such as Dobeno or Rašica, and the forests and meadows near the town offer provide excellent opportunities for outdoor relaxation and recreation.
