The most beautiful things created by nature over the course of millions of years can be found in the underground kingdom of the Postojna cave. Drop by drop, the water has created breath-taking shapes: a gigantic concert hall with excellent acoustics, ponds of clear water, an underground mountain and many more incredible things.

But the most amazing wonder of the cave is the proteus anguinus (the »human fish«) which lives in the eternal darkness.

Tourists can take a ride through the cave on a special cave train that will let them experience everything that the underground has to offer.
