Mala Lazna is situated in the heart of Trnovski Forest. It is situated on a wonderful clearing in the middle of luscious beech and pine tree woods. You can enjoy beautiful walks to Mali Golak, Mrzovec, Smrečje, Smrekova draga, Velika ledena jama, etc. Here unique plants grow. During autumn this is a real paradise for picking forest fruits and mushrooms.

When winter creeps in all of a sudden, then it is time to feel the warm fireplace after a nice ski tour or joyful sledging down Nagovec, and sense the long forgotten scent of dry beechen wood.

The Trnovski Forest is situated about 50 km of air line from Ljubljana. The centre of the Trnovski Forest is the village Lokve. You can reach Lokve from Solkan after about 20 km, by driving through Trnovo, Nemce na Lokvah or from the direction of Čepovan after about 4 km. Slightly further on, after about 3 km in the direction towards Predmeja, Mala Lazna is situated. From Ajdovščina you can reach us by driving through Predmeja towards Lokve to Mala Lazna, or from the direction of Idrija, via Vojsko and Mrzla Rupa after about 25 km.
