Ribnica na Pohorju is a pleasant mountain village that makes up a municipality along with five other villages. Despite its small size, it is full of cultural and natural sights. Its location has allowed the development of mountaineering and ski tourism. Snow lovers will enjoy the Ribnica ski slopes while two mountain lodges provide opportunities for rest along the mountain trails. The quiet Ribnica lake glimmers atop Plešivec. The towns in the area have been marked mainly by quarries, charcoal makers, lone farms, flour mills and sawmills.
