General terms and conditions
Acenta d.o.o., Kranjska cesta 4, 4240 Radovljica provides a system for online reservations of all types of tourist services (accommodations, breakfast, half board, full board, additional beds, cycling packages, bicycle rental, rafting...) on the sloveniaholidays.com portal. Providers use the reservation system on the sloveniaholidays.com to offer their accommodations and/or other tourist services (packages, activities etc.) while »portal users and visitors« can use the system to make a reservation.
Contractual relationship
By making a reservation on the sloveniaholidays.com portal, you enter a direct (legally binding) contractual relationship with the tourist service provider in question. From the moment the reservation is made, we act only as an intermediary between the provider and you (the guest). We forward all details of your reservation (other than your credit card data) to the provider and send you a confirmation e-mail.
By using the sloveniaholidays.com portal to view content, search for information and/or make reservations or purchases, you confirm and agree that you have read, understood and agree with the terms defined below.
Online reservations using the reservation system
A user of the portal can book accommodations and other tourist services without making a prior inquiry with the tourist service provider online. The portal user simply fills out a form and books the service.

Booking confirmation with credit card
With a credit card you can assure an immediate booking. After you complete the booking, you will receive a booking confirmation to your e-mail address. On the booking confirmation there will also be a link, where you will be able to change or cancel your booking. You will pay the entire amount of the service directly to the service provider on the day of your departure. Sloveniaholidays does not charge for the service and the booking with credit cards. Using a credit card means only a booking confirmation. We will complete the authorization and the means for one service/one night will be reserved. They will be taken from your account only in the event that the guest does not arrive ("No-Show") and does not cancel his/her booking prior to that or that he/she cancels the booking with a delay. The booking confirmation is safe. The data is being sent over a secure ciphered connection. Sloveniaholidays cannot see the data therefore does not collect data from credit card holders.
For a complete and successful booking some service providers also require a prepayment – you can check the amounts of the prepayments at the presentation sites of the service providers. In the case that the service provider requires a prepayment made by the guest all the responsibilities and rights of the guest have to be in accordance with the general terms of the service provider.
When making a reservation for a particular accommodation or service, you will need to enter your data (your name, surname, e-mail address, address, postal code, country, phone number, comments, questions, additional wishes) and your credit card data (card number, CVV2/CVC1, expiry date) into the online form.
The following credit cards can be used to confirm the reservation: Visa, Visa Electron. Mastercard, Maestro, Activa.The order form will be automatically filled out based on the chosen reservation (provider, web page, service cost, number of orders).
Booking confirmation with the option “payment after the offer”
After you choose the booking confirmation with the option “payment after the offer” we will send the offer for the payment of the booking to your e-mail address within 24 hours. As soon as we receive the payment to our account, we will make the booking and send you the booking confirmation to your e-mail address. There will be also a link on the booking confirmation where you will be able to change or cancel your booking. You will pay the remaining amount to the service provider on the day of your departure. If you would like to make an immediate booking, we recommend you choose – Confirmation of booking with credit card. In this way, your booking will be made immediately and you will avoid the potential risk of losing your accommodation because of overbooking that can occur between the time of the received offer and the actual payment.
For a complete and successful booking some service providers also require a prepayment – in this case, the amount of the prepayment is given at the presentation site of the service provider. The prepayment will be included in the offer for the reservation payment, which you will receive via email.
By making the reservation, you agree to receive certain information from us via e-mail (information about the chosen service before departure, important and useful information about the destination, surveys about your satisfaction with the provider and with our services ...). If you do not wish to receive our offers and news you can easily unsubscribe at any time. More below.
Checking your data after making a reservation
After completing the reservation, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with all the information about your reservation as well as instructions on how to access the system where your modify your reservation or change your data.
You can show this confirmation e-mail to the tourist service provider as proof of your reservation. Shortly before your arrival, we may send you an e-mail with information about your destination. This e-mail may contain certain information and offers (including offers from third parties, connected to your reservation and destination). Furthermore, we will send you a customer satisfaction survey after the end of your stay. We will be very happy if you fill out the survey. Your completed survey may be published on our webpage (on the subpage containing information about accommodations) exclusively for the purpose of informing (future) clients about the quality of the relevant accommodations. We will also occasionally send you our online newsletter or other information if you have subscribed to them on the portal in the past.
Tourist service prices
The prices of the tourist services on the sloveniaholidays.com portal are competitive. They are set by the tourist service provider and are valid from the day they are published on the portal. They are listed by individual tourist service and include VAT and any other extras unless otherwise stated by the provider on the sloveniaholidays.com portal.
The price of the accommodations or tourist service includes services listed on the sloveniaholidays.com portal. Additional services and charges not included in the basic price must be specifically marked in the description by the tourist service provider.
All prices are listed in euro.
The sloveniaholidays.com occasionally offers special prices for a particular time. However, these special prices have additional terms and limitations when cancelling the reservation and receiving money back. Thus, please carefully check the service and its conditions before making a reservation. Tourist service providers guarantee that the price advertised on the sloveniaholidays reservation system is equal to the best possible price for equivalent accommodations and that a guest cannot receive a better price by making the reservation directly with the provider or via a third party.
Tourist tax
According to the Tourism promotion law, the Guest is required to pay the tourist tax when paying for the accommodations. The tourist tax is not included in the price of the accommodations unless otherwise listed. The tourist tax is paid to the tourist service provider, per person per night.
Information about tourist services, complaints and liabilities
Tourist service providers are entirely responsible for the content of the published service (general information about accommodations, information about rooms, prices and currently free beds, cancellation policies, no-show policies, the truth of all published claims etc.).
The company Acenta d.o.o. is not responsible for any direct or indirect damage caused to anyone as a result of using the services. It also carries no legal or moral obligation for damages caused by incorrect, incomplete or otherwise misleading information.
The company Acenta d.o.o. is not responsible for the portal or service becoming inaccessible due to downtime in the contractual partners' network, electrical outages, various technical errors, incorrect information, and possible damage caused by incorrect or incomplete information.
Information and data collection
When making a reservation for a particular accommodation or tourist service, you will have to enter your contact details into the online form. These are described in more detail under »Online reservations« and are required in order to process and confirm your reservation (including sending the confirmation e-mail).
For our services, we require the following information and data for the following purposes:
Reservations: Once you make a reservation, we will forward your reservation data to the relevant tourist service provider. The data will not be given to anyone else unless required by the law (e.g. criminal investigation, court order). However, we do occasionally use third parties as distributors for certain services and functions. These third parties may have access to (part of) your personal data required to complete their services and functinos. These third parties have agreed to maintain your privacy and may not use, share or reveal your personal data for any other purpose.
Surveys and questionnaires: By making the reservation, you agree that we may send you an e-mail invitation to complete a survey about the accommodation/provider once you have completed your stay or service. This survey is filled out anonymously. By filling it out, you agree that we may publish your responses on our webpage exclusively for the purpose of informing (future) clients about the quality of the relevant accommodations. We reserve the right to change, reject or remove filled-out surveys. This surveys contains no (additional commercial) offers, invitations or encouragements. Other than the reservation confirmation e-mail and the e-mails listed above, we will not send you any other messages or notifications unless you explicitly agree to them.
E-news and other information: If you would like to subscribe to our e-news (online newsletter) or receive advertisements and other information from us (in connection with products or services of our company or our business partners), you can »subscribe« to this service. If you do not wish to receive these messages in the future, you can unsubscribe by simply clicking on a link.
Protection and use of personal data
The company Acenta d.o.o. is dedicated to protecting all personal and other details of users of the sloveniaholidays.com portal. Your personal data (name, e-mail, phone number.) will not be given to third parties without your explicit permission unless required by law.

Free and safe use of the reservation system
Benefits for users of the system
Our service is completely free of charge. When you make a reservation, we will not charge you additional reservation costs. The credit card represents only a guarantee that the reservation is confirmed. In case of a „No-Show“ the resources for one service/night will be booked. You pay for the service directly by the service provider at your departure.
You can cancel or countermand your reservation up to 3 days before your arrival at no extra fee.
Security of the system & credit card
The reservation system on the sloveniaholidays.com portal is secure. To ensure the safety of your credit card data, we use technology fromt he Payment gateway banking group as well as the appropriate certificates and protection: Thawte, Visa and Master Card Secure code. Guests must provide their credit card data in order to confirm the reservation. Then, the authorization or reservation of funds in the client's personal account is performed in the amount of one unit of the requested tourist service(e.g. one night). Credit card data is sent directly to the bank; the company Acenta d.o.o., the sloveniaholidays.com portal, and the tourist providers do not have access to your credit card data.
If a particular credit card is not enough to confirm a reservation, the provider will offer the Guest a different way of confirming the reservation. If the Guest cannot or does not want to confirm the reservation, the provider can terminate the process of booking a tourist service. If the provider accepts more reservations than the provider has available capacities (overbooking), the provider must offer the Guest an alternative reservation of an equivalent or better quality for the same price. Additionally, the provider must cover all costs incurred by the Guest as a result of lodging in a different location (e.g. the cost of a taxi ride to the alternative accommodations). Acenta d.o.o. is not responsible for any damage incurred by the Guest or tourist service provider due to termination of the reservation or due to overbooking.
Reservation cancellation
You can cancel or countermand your reservation up to 3 days before your arrival at no extra fee. If you fail to cancel the reservation 3 days before your arrival or do not take advantage of the booked service (»No-show«), we will charge your credit card in the amount of 1 unit or ordered tourist service (e.g. 1 night's stay).
By making the reservation, you accept and agree to the reservation cancellation terms of the tourist service provider. Additionally, you agree to all additional terms and conditions of the tourist service provider that are relevant to your reservation or to your stay (e.g. services or products offered by the provider).
General information about reservation cancellation terms for a particular accommodation or service are also available on the sloveniaholidays.com portal. For some special offers, it is not possible to change or cancel the reservation; please check the reservation details carefully.
If you wish to view, change or cancel your reservation, read the confirmation e-mail and follow the instructions therein. The provider may charge you for the reservation cancellation in accordance with the reservation cancellation terms. We recommend that you read the confirmation e-mail.
Notes
The general terms and conditions are valid for all services available indirectly or directly (via providers) on the sloveniaholidays.com portal. These terms and conditions may change and/or expand. When a change or expansion occurs, Acenta d.o.o. will publish the new terms on the sloveniaholidays.com portal.
