Pomurje museum Murska Sobota - presentation

The Murska Sobota Regional museum is the central institution responsible for protecting, studying and exhibiting the mobile cultural heritage in the Pomurje area.

In 1999, the museum received a special award from the European museum forum for its permanent exhibition about the history of Prekmurje at the Sobota castle. It also has several temporary exhibitions, permanent exhibitions and collections at Beltinci, Ižakovci, Gornja Radgona, Velika Polana, Brezovica, Veržej, Lendava and at the castle.

Open:
Tuesday – Friday from 9am to 5pm;
Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 9am to 1pm.
