The Moravče municipality is part of the western Posavje hills. It boasts many marked trails, the longest being the 52-kilometer Moravče circular trail. The area is also crossed by the European walking trail and the Bajdur, Rokovnjaška and Valvazor trails. These give many hikers and cyclists a chance to explore the landscape, the rich local traditions and the many cultural and natural wonders such as churches, markings, hayracks, old homesteads and remnants of castles.
