The Moravče municipality is part of the western Posavje hills. It boasts many marked trails, the longest being the 52-kilometer Moravče circular trail. The area is also crossed by the European walking trail and the Bajdur, Rokovnjaška and Valvazor trails. These give many hikers and cyclists a chance to explore the landscape, the rich local traditions and the many cultural and natural wonders such as churches, markings, hayracks, old homesteads and remnants of castles. Tourist farms offer rest and relaxation. The Tuštanj castle and Limbarska gora are particularly popular trip destinations.
