Lenart is the center of Slovenske gorice. Here, visitors can admire old straw-covered »cimprače« houses, a fascinating rural museum and the famous Hrastovec castle, one of the mightiest castles in the Štajerska region. The history of its buildings is estimated to go back to the 13th century. The area is enriched by beautiful religious monuments, interesting events and numerous hiking trails.
