Komenda

Most of the municipality lies on the flat Kamniško – Bistriška plain where the tributaries of Pšata meet, but some smaller settlements also cover the Tunjiško gričevje hills in the north. The area is rich with water, especially small ponds such as Kriški bajer and Čukov bajer. The landscape has many exceptional dendrological features, especially the mighty lime trees. Tourists will certainly be impressed by the area's archeological and religious heritage, old traditions and events.
