Dornava

The Dornava municipality lies at the point where the Ptuj plain meets the edge of Slovenske gorice. Dornava, the most beautiful Slovenian baroque manor house, gives a special charm to the town and is also featured in the municipal coat of arms. Besides the central section, the manor house consists of two smaller pavillions and is surrounded by a baroque park with a very impressive display of baroque sculptures. Visitors are also attracted to traditional events with rich cultural and culinary programmes.
