Domžale
Domžale is only about 15 kilometers away from Ljubljana, on the Bistrica plain beneath the Kamnik mountains. Two major factors have contributed to the historical development of Domžale: straw hat production and the water turbine on the Mlinščice canal that provided electricity for the Ladstätter factory.
