The camp is of the highest category and is open from 06.04.2012 until 02.10.2012. The quality camping spaces are flat and all of them come provided with access to electricity (16 A).

Camping Šobec is beautifully nestled in the shade of pine tree forest between  Šobec lake and Sava Dolinka river. Stunning views of Julian Alps and Karawanke mountains, framed by ever present water and trees, give character to this unique campsite. With its wide range of services and facilities, this five star camping is a perfect place for a camping holiday in Slovenia!

The popular summer tourist route from Eastern Alps to Adriatic sea (A2 motorway from Villach to Ljubljana) is only 2 km away, whilst world famous Lake Bled is within walking distance from our campsite! You will hardly find a campsite more generous with space: our 400 neatly kept pitches stretch across 15 hectares of camp ground. Bungalows are the pride of Camp Šobec : Built of wood in traditional alpine style, they provide an ultimate upgrade of camping lifestyle.

Countless natural and cultural sights invite you to explore Gorenjska region,  the Triglav National Park is right at our doorstep. Either you search for the adrenalin rush  in rivers and mountains, quiet place in nature to relax, or perfect holiday for your family: Welcome to Šobec!

We take our motto  »Your place in nature« seriously. You can choose a camping pitch of your own choice and preference at your arrival.

Whether you like your pitch shady or sunny, quiet or lively, parcelled or custom sized  – in CampingŠobec you will easily find just what you are looking for!

Camping pitches of Šobec are levelled, grassy and sheltered by a roof of tall pine trees. Kayakers , fishermen  and  all those who enjoy being close to nature find their haven near the banks of river Sava. Families with small children prefer pitches close to lake and playgrounds,  whilst those seeking  comfort  and practicality camp near reception or the restaurant.

All areas of Camping Šobec are easily accessible through a wide network of access roads,  suitable even for the largest types of  camping vehicles  Electricity boxes, dish washing units and sanitary buildings  are equally  dispersed throughout the entire surface of the campsite.  Barbecues and grill stoves are widely acceptable in Šobec, whereas campfires  are only permitted on designated area near the river Sava.

Even in peak season the vast area of campsite never gets overcrowded – there is always a suitable place waiting there for you to pitch a tent or park a caravan.
