Born in the burja winds and enriched by tradition. Wines from the wine cellar Vipava 1894.
Many years ago, our ancestors began cultivating grapevine and gathered the primal force of the earth into the wine. Their wisdom has not been forgotten. We have combined the old tradition with modern technology in order to develop wines with a modern character, style and image.
Wines from the wine cellar Vipava 1894 are divided into four groups:
• Vallis wines persuade with their fruity, fresh nature (Chardonnay-Pinot Blanc, Italian Riesling, Vrtovčan, Merlot, Barbera-Merlot, Pinot Noir )
• Ventus wines (born in the burja winds) are rich and strong (Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Italian Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Yellow Muscat, Rebula, Malvasia. Merlot, Barbera, Cabernet sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Rose)
• Lanthieri wines are characterized by their noble, exquisite taste (Malvasia, Zelen, Pinela, Sauvignon Zemono, Chardonnay Mandrija, Merlot Biljenski griči, Cabernet sauvignon, Merlot Paradox)
• Storia wines are the “perfect” wines and are only available in restaurants (Cuvée prestige white and red).
We also offer sparkling wines (Zelena, Stoletna penina, Theodosius, Barbera), archive wines and dessert wines made from dried grapes (white and red Vipava Pikolit).
