Alpine hut Tromeja welcomes individuals and groups to spend a couple of days in synergy with nature. Pre-school and elementary school kids are especially happy here. They are often visited by a forest ranger or a mountain rescuer. Teachers can take them for a trip to `tromeja` (the point where borders of Slovenia, Italy and Austria meet), through slide projector presentations they find out more about nature while hospitable staff and good food makes them feel like home. The hut is most appropriate for smaller parties as well as family holidays.
Alpine hut Tromeja is located 4 km from Ratece village. It is surounded by virgin nature with plenty of possibility to relax. We expect you daily from 10 o`clock on. Our menu includes: mushroom-based dishes, various soups, struklji (Slovene specialty with cottage cheese), strudel...Party, anniversarycelebration and hiking organizers are most welcome, for we can arrange low-priced lunch and dinner menues for groups as well asorganize picnics. We are sure that your stay will be most pleasant.
Open from 10 am to 4pm on weekdays and from 10am to 5pm on weekends. Closed in case of bad weather (rain).
