The Sport Hotel has been completely renovated and makes an excellent starting point for different trips, walks, cycling expeditions and alternative caving.
It especially caters to cyclists, providing them with everything they need (bicycle storage, 20 high-quality Slovenian brand Cult rental bikes, guided cycling trips through the cycling park Notranjska – guide/GPS rental or guidebooks, suitable food…). We also offer 2, 3, 5 and 7-day active holiday packages which combine cycling trips, caving and hiking. Older guests can enjoy guided tours of the Notranjska region, wild animal watching and fishing.
In the immediate vicinity you can find, among other things, the famous Postojna cave, the Predjama castle, the Škocjan caves and the disappearing Cerknica lake.
It's only half an hour drive to the Slovenian coast or to the capital, Ljubljana which makes it a perfect starting point as everything is near and the prices are lower.
The Sport Hotel & Hostel has a total of 120 beds in different types of rooms (single to quadruple rooms, suites, 8-bed family duplexes). All rooms in the building have their own toilet and shower as well most of the room have free Internet access.
Guests have access to self-service breakfast, a tourist information area, free Internet access, free parking lot and luggage storage, lounge, bar, cleaning/drying service. You can buy the MTB park Notranjska cycling guidebook at the hotel reception. You can also borrow maps of individual park bike trails.
The hotel also contains a modern congress center which consists of a congress hall with 100 seats and a smaller conference room for 10-15 people.
The congress center is located in the attic and lit by natural light, giving the room a unique kind of energy.
It is suitable for smaller conferences, seminars lasting several days, workshops etc.
