The Škrgat tourist farm lies at the end of the Rižana valley and offers plenty of opportunities for hiking, cycling, horseback riding and travelling around Istra and Kras. The farm is especially famous for its cellar, which is cut into the rock.
We serve typical Istrian food with a touch of the Šavrini hills:
- ombolo with Refosco sauce
- roast beef with prosciutto and Refosco sauce
- home-produced sausages
- porcini with polenta
- fuži (an Istrian pastry) with asparagus
- home-produced dried meat products (prosciutto, streaky bacon, neck meat)
- game meat and gnocchi
- bread
The wine list includes home-produced Refosco, Malvasia, dry and sweet Muscat.
Large groups and buses can be accommodated.
Open: Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from noon to 10pm, other days by arrangement.
