Ormož

The Ormož municipality is the center of Prlekija. It consists of the ridges of Slovenske gorice and the flat lands by the Drava river. Criss-crossed by rivers, these hills make up the picturesque image of the land. With many archeological discoveries, Ormož is one of the country's largest medieval and prehistoric archeological sites. Its location above the Drava river, the beautiful manor, park and church ... all these make the town worthy of a long visit. Many fruit orchards, vineyards, wine cellars and restaurants are simply additional reasons to come to Ormož.
