Šoštanj

The Šoštanj municipality is part of the Šaleška dolina valley, and the town of Šoštanj itself lies by the Paka river and the Šoštanj lake in the western part of the valley. The other villages mainly lie on the slopes of the surrounding hills. The area's natural features have allowed the development of spa tourism in the Toplice valley, where the famous Topolšica spa can be found.
