Rečica ob Savinji

Rečica ob Savinji lies by the Rečica stream that the town was named after. It was first mentioned in historical documents during the 14th century, and a school was built there in 1777. Interesting sights include the only stone pillory in the Upper Savinja valley, Tavčarjev dvor and the church of St. Canzian. The pleasant pine forest by the Savinja river contains 180 camping spots and a wide selection of sporting activities.
