Trebnje

A city embraced by the Temenica and Mirna rivers, Trebnje hosts the traditional festival of naive art every year. A beautiful collection of this art can be seen at the Gallery of naive art. Medieval towns such as Mokronog, Šentrupert and Mirna, the typical architecture of the Dolenjska countryside and the sunny wine hills dotted by churches all combine to give the entire Mirna valley a unique appearance. Trebnje is crossed by the 15° meridian, and a marking by the road shows the current central European time.
