Municipality Radlje ob Dravi |
 |
Radlje lies in the middle of the Drava valley between Dravograd and Maribor. The town was first mentioned in written documents over 850 years ago, and it has retained its old image despite many renovations. One of the most beautiful and most noticeable buildings in Radlje is the Marenberg Dominican nunnery, and the nuns have left the area another important monument: the Calvary with the Stations of the Cross. Radlje is surrounded by the hills of Pohorje and Kozjak with vast forests, and hop fields contribute to the area's unique appearance.
