The world famous musical phenomenon from the Gorenjska region, the Avsenik Brothers Ensemble, made Slovenia and Slovenian entertainment music a force to be reckoned with. In 1989, the Avsenik gallery was opened in their home town of Begunje as part of the Avsenik home. The creations of many acclaimed artists have been displayed in the gallery, and the permanent museum exhibit presents the history of the band as well as the awards it has received in the last 50 years The store sells works of art, sound recordings, mementos, music sheets, literature and instruments.
